Happy Women’s Day!
We can never get enough of celebrating women at Wunderdogs. It shows in who we are and what we do. It also shows in who we work with.
Throughout our Wunderdogs journey, we have had the honor of working with numerous incredible women leaders making a difference every day in their industries and the world— more than most agencies. As part of our Women’s History Month celebrations, we will highlight one woman every week that we believe is an innovator and trailblazer in their industry, giving a snapshot into their lives and careers through our Wunder Women series.
We’re starting off with Surbhi Rathore, Co-Founder & CEO, Symbl.ai. Symbl is bringing to life Surbhi’s vision for a programmable platform that empowers developers and businesses to build unique conversational experiences without the hassle of upfront training or building their in-house data science expertise.
She co-founded Symbl almost 2 years ago, backed by Amazon and a Techstars alum. Symbl raised an early-stage venture round of $6.5M and deployed capital to grow a team of tech enthusiasts to 30 people primarily distributed between India and the USA. She has garnered experience from technical and customer-obsessed roles in startups and enterprises such as Nevis Networks and Amdocs. Before co-founding Symbl, she worked in the Conversational AI space focussing on delivering value to Telecommunication users. She is an advocate for Women in AI with a personal mission to inspire more women to work in Data Science.
What is one thing that gets you up in the morning/ keeps you going every day?
My team and my customers are my core. Thriving to make their experience better with Symbl every day keeps me going.
Who is one woman who has inspired you and influenced your career?
My mom, for sure. She has 3 post-graduate degrees, is a mother to 2 kids, is a wife to an army officer, and was a successful entrepreneur herself for years.
Where do you think the tech industry is in terms of diversity?
We still have a long way to go, specifically in terms of women founders building B2B/B2D tech businesses.
What women-led brands/organizations in any industry would you like people to know more about?
